JOHN MURRAY TO RETIRE: –
It has been announced that John Murray will be retiring as Headteacher of the CHS at the end of this academic year. He has been Head since September 2004, in this time working with great dedication to lead the school through some very significant stages – including conversion to Academy status, the development of the Emmaus Building and a number of OFSTED and Diocesan inspections. Jane Johnson, Chair of Governors, reassures parents that the governors and trustees will work with the Diocese to start the process of appointing a successor, advertising the post as soon as possible. There will be many opportunities for us to offer our thanks for John’s tireless service, and to offer best wishes for a long, happy – and no doubt active – retirement.
